Use Flea Bombs to Kill Fleas

You can't help but pick that ball of fur at your feet. She's so cuddly. You keep feeling her fur with your cheek. But what if she has dozens of tiny bloodsuckers in her fur?

Fleas feed on your pet's blood. Though they may not instantly drain blood from your pet, these tiny freeloaders from hell, if not dealt with adequately, will put your pet's life at risk.

It's your responsibility as a pet owner to keep your pet, yourself and your house free from fleas. Fleas will create a gap between you and your pet. If your pet dies because of them, what does that make you? You don't want that to happen, do you?

Before time runs out, before you become the target meal of these tiny creatures, it's time to play flea buster. It's a tough task - time-consuming and a little costly if the problem is severe - but it is doable.

How do you do that? Flea control measures come in single or multiple approaches.

To catch fleas one by one here and there - straining your eyes and dirtying your digits - is perhaps the most futile approach. Only monkeys are good at that, and one monkey can't even totally rid another monkey of fleas. You bet your bananas they just pick fleas from each other's fur to kill time. They're not dead serious at it; it's just monkey business.

If fleas are everywhere in your house - not just in your pet's fine fur but also on your floor, carpet, couch, walls and bed - the ultimate solution is to use flea bombs!

It does not mean bombing your house to get rid of fleas. That's funny only in doodle-land. And you don't want to be the neighborhood terrorist, do you? Let's just say that flea bombs are the precision bombs of flea warfare.

Fogging your house with insecticide is what flea bombing means. The residue left from dense spraying will kill irritating fleas, as well as other insects, thus freeing your home from fleas!

Flea bomb contain chemicals strong enough to do its primary job and remain effective for at most six months. The enemies targeted don't just limit to the adult fleas but also with developing eggs and larvae as well. Aside from fleas, house pests like cockroaches and mosquitoes are also eliminated.

Flea bombs, however, differ from the ordinary flea sprays like the Raid flea aerosols. Flea sprays work on a limited spot, but flea bombs cover at most 700-square-foot area per bomb. Let us call it domestic carpet bombing. Apart from the coverage, the contained chemicals also vary. So put it this way, flea bombs are the bigger and more potent version of flea spray.

In using flea bombs, you will be required to get out o f the house, as any sensible soldier scrambles for cover when he hears bombs whistling overhead. The chemicals used in the flea bombs are strong enough and have health effects if during fogging someone inhales it.

It takes over an hour before all of the chemicals finally settle, although the fogging just takes for minutes. So, it is necessary to keep all your food away from exposure to these chemicals. It is also flammable. Turning the lights off before you go out is really a need to be checked. In case of open fire, extinguish it! Before you let your family and the pets back inside, ventilate the house!

Other preventive measures focused on your pets will be necessary. This is because flea bombs serve as your last resort. Consider that flea bombs cover only the house and not the pets and you. In other words, don't be trigger happy. You can't just bomb yourself or cats with a flea bomb. Or have successive flea bombings in your house because that's too much for your pocket. Consult a veterinarian for the other flea-control products.

Pets give you simple pleasures at home. Don't let any bloodsucking parasite stand between you and your pet. Cleanse your house! Be a flea buster and bomb the fleas!
